New heating system On moving house I had problems with the existing boiler and system (it was very old). Gregor helped keep the existing system going whilst I waited for a new system to be fitted. They were very flexible in fitting the new system by completing some pipework early so we could finish fitting our kitchen and then on full install working with the plumber fitting our new bathroom. Chris, Mark and Phil delivered a great service. All I can say is a very big thank you to the two plumbing operatives that attended my flat earlier this morning to fix my boiler and non running hot water issue in my bathroom I have had since moving into my new apartment. I didn’t actually get their names but whoever they were, were very efficient and professional in their trade and are credit to Gregor Heating Electrical & Renewable Energy Company. They arrived at my flat promptly within the promised time of 08:00-13:00. The guys were very polite and respectful as I didn’t even ask them to take off their shoes before stepping inside my flat when they arrived as I just had my carpets laid and they also treated my flat with respect by not slamming the front door when stepping in and out to get materials from their vans. high standard of work Gregor put a new boiler in for me. I chose them because I got solid advice from them on my initial enquiry. They mentioned aspects regarding gas regulations that another company just didn't mention (because it complicated things). I wanted someone to do the job right so chose Gregor. Communication was good. I'm not a plumber but they seemed to do a tidy, professional job and I'm happy with it. Installation of new boiler, central thermostat and individual radiator thermostats.  The Gregor team, Craig (plumber/gas engineer) Lee (electrician) and the builder were great. They were punctual, polite, friendly, hardworking, and answered all of the many questions I had. They were very professional and their work is of a very high standard. At the end of each day they made sure my property was left clean, tidy and ready for our use. Everything you could wish for in a contractor Removed old gas back boiler and replaced with an electric boiler, hot water cylinder and associated plumbing. The work was completed to the agreed schedule with the minimum of disruption. The tradesmen were punctual, polite and professional with good communication about progress etc. The work, particularly the plumbing in of the new boiler was skilfully done. The new boiler and its plumbing is like a work of art. There was a slight hiccup with the supply of materials but this was easily overcome. Fantastic job, very skilled at job. Well the chaps, Aston and apprentice, Charlie, were great. Aston was very experienced in his job, and really not being that old, he took pride in his job, using levels for making sure pipes were plumb, bent pipes to shape instead of just right and left angles. Disruptive days made easy! Having no heating or hot water for over 2 months was pretty hard going, Gregor couldn't come out to install as quickly as we'd have liked, but they came very quickly to do the initial quote. Once the plumber arrived, he made the disruption of having the boiler replaced super easy (almost pleasurable!) and Mark specifically was a delight to have in the house. I wasn't here when Mark left so I was unsure about how the job would be finished off, however when I spoke to Sarah in the office this afternoon she very quickly sorted exactly what was happening and called me back to reassure me that all would be finished. The delay is a little bit of a pain - I need to dust after the ceiling was pulled down but can't until the new ceiling is installed - but I'm just happy we have heat and water again!
